The owner of this website is MANUEL AMORA, known as “Bong” in the OFW Community. He was a former Overseas Filipino Worker in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 20 years. An active OFW leader, whose advocacy have been deeply recognized by so many of his fellow OFWs, more particularly the distressed OFWs.
Now back in the Philippines in December of 2014, he is actively involved in community activities within his local area, the Barangay Basak of Lapu-Lapu City. He is currently the Vice-President and acting President of BF Better Living Subdivision Homeowners Association in Basak. He is also advocating issues and concerns for the OFW families within his community and preparing to organize an OFW Barangay Coordinating Center. The concept of the OFWBCC is the creation of a center in every barangay, in order to oversee and provide advice and counseling to OFW families left behind by their love ones in search for a greener pasture abroad and the purpose of preserving the dignity of the OFW families back home.
“Bong” is a volunteer for the 2016 Philippine national election, particularly supporting the candidacy of Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte for President 2016 and Rolando “Lando” Patalinjug for Mayor 2016 in Lapu-Lapu City.
